HueCTRL — Terms of Use

Effective Date: May 1st, 2026

Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") carefully before purchasing, downloading, or using HueCTRL PowerGrade color grading tools ("Product"). By purchasing or using the Product, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not purchase or use the Product.

1. License Grant

Upon completing a valid purchase, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, personal license to install and use the Product on up to two (2) personal devices you own or control, and to apply the PowerGrades to your own video projects for personal or commercial purposes.

2. Restrictions

You may not redistribute, resell, rent, lease, sublicense, or transfer the Product or any portion of it to any third party. You may not share your license or downloaded files with others, upload the Product to any file-sharing platform, repository, or cloud storage, reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the underlying data or structure of the Product, modify or create derivative products based on HueCTRL for resale or redistribution, claim authorship or ownership of the Product, or use the HueCTRL name or branding without prior written permission.

3. Ownership & Intellectual Property

The Product, including all PowerGrades, presets, data, and associated branding, remains the exclusive intellectual property of the Licensor. Purchasing a license grants you the right to use the Product — not to own it. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

4. Permitted Use in Projects

You may apply HueCTRL PowerGrades to client work, commercial productions, personal creative projects, and broadcast or streaming content where you hold the editorial role. You may not use the Product to create competing color grading tools, presets, or asset packs sold or distributed to others.

5. Payment & Refunds

All purchases are final. Because HueCTRL is a digital product, refunds are generally not available once files have been accessed or downloaded. Exceptions may be made at the Licensor's sole discretion in cases of verified technical failure that cannot be resolved. Please contact us before requesting a refund.

6. No Warranty

The Product is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. The Licensor does not guarantee compatibility with all versions of DaVinci Resolve, operating systems, or hardware configurations. It is your responsibility to verify compatibility before purchase.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Licensor shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Product. The Licensor's total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Product.

8. Updates & Support

The Licensor may release updates or improvements at their discretion but is under no obligation to do so. Support is provided on a best-effort basis through the contact information provided at the point of purchase.

9. Termination

This license remains in effect until terminated. If you breach any of these Terms, your license terminates automatically and you must cease all use of the Product and delete all copies from your devices. The Licensor reserves the right to revoke a license at any time in cases of misuse or unauthorized distribution.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Utah, USA. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that location.

11. Changes to These Terms

The Licensor may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Product following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
